Distinguished Leaders, Honorable Guests, Dear Chinese Friends, and Fellow Iranian Compatriots,Good morning!

Today, as the sun shines warmly and distinguished guests gather, we are filled with immense joy and anticipation to witness this pivotal moment—the official inauguration of the Iran Trade Pavilion in Huzhou. This small pavilion may be limited in size, but it carries profound significance: it is a new testament to the deep friendship between Iran and China, a new bridge for economic and trade cooperation between our two regions, and a new window for enhancing people-to-people bonds between Iran and China.

On behalf of the Iran Trade Pavilion in Huzhou, I would like to extend our warmest welcome to all leaders and guests present at today’s ceremony, and our most sincere gratitude to friends from all sectors who have long supported the friendly exchanges and cooperation between Iran and China.

When we speak of the relationship between Iran and China, the warm term "old friend" always comes to mind. This friendship was not forged overnight; it is a bond of mutual understanding and companionship that has spanned millennia. As early as the era of the ancient Silk Road, Persian camel caravans, loaded with spices, carpets, and gemstones, traversed the long winding trade routes to reach China. In return, Chinese silk, porcelain, and papermaking technology traveled along the same paths, entering Persian markets and royal courts. Back then, the bells of camels were the melody of exchange between our two countries and a testament to our mutual trust. As millennia have passed, this friendship has not faded—it has instead flourished with renewed vitality in the new era. From mutually beneficial cooperation in economy and trade, to mutual learning in culture, and to mutual support on the international stage, Iran and China have always adhered to the principles of "equality, respect, and win-win cooperation," setting an example for friendly coexistence between different civilizations and nations. Today, the establishment of this Trade Pavilion in Huzhou marks a crucial step in continuing this millennia-old friendship and expanding our cooperation in the new era.

Why choose Huzhou? Because this city is not only renowned as the "Land of Silk" and "Land of Fish and Rice," but also boasts an open and inclusive spirit and vibrant development momentum. Located in the heart of the Yangtze River Delta—one of the most economically dynamic regions in China—Huzhou has a well-developed industrial chain, dynamic market entities, and a strong demand for high-quality overseas products. Iran, known as the "cradle of Persian civilization," is home to a wealth of distinctive products: from Persian rose essential oil from the Kashan Oasis, high-quality pistachios nurtured by the plateau sun, to handmade Persian carpets with millennia-old craftsmanship, and competitive energy and chemical products. These are Iran’s precious gifts to the world. We believe that the vitality of Huzhou and the unique strengths of Iran will undoubtedly spark the flames of cooperation. The establishment of this Trade Pavilion is to build a "direct gateway"—enabling friends in Huzhou and even the entire Yangtze River Delta to access high-quality Iranian products more conveniently, while allowing Iranian enterprises to connect more accurately with the needs of the Chinese market.

However, the mission of the Iran Trade Pavilion in Huzhou goes far beyond "selling products." We aspire for it to be a "two-way bridge": On one hand, we will regularly organize Iranian characteristic product tasting sessions, cultural exhibitions, and business matchmaking events, bringing Iran’s high-quality products and unique culture to Huzhou. We hope more Chinese friends will discover Iran’s charm—for example, when you catch the rich, fragrant aroma of Persian rose essential oil, you will think of the sunshine over the Kashan Oasis; when you touch the exquisite patterns of a Persian carpet, you will feel the craftsmanship of Iranian artisans. On the other hand, we will also actively conduct research on the Chinese market, particularly Huzhou’s advantageous industries such as green agriculture, high-end manufacturing, and new energy technology. We will help Iranian enterprises explore cooperation opportunities, introducing China’s advanced technologies and high-quality products to Iran, and achieving a "mutual commitment" for win-win results.

Distinguished Guests, Friends,

Currently, the global economy faces many uncertainties, but "opening-up, cooperation, mutual benefit, and win-win outcomes" remain the aspiration of the people and the trend of the times. Both Iran and China possess vast markets, solid industrial foundations, and strong resilience for development. The potential for cooperation between us is as abundant as the sunshine over the Persian Plateau. Looking ahead, the Iran Trade Pavilion in Huzhou will adhere to the mission of "serving enterprises, promoting exchanges, and deepening friendship," and focus on three key tasks: First, to act as an "information hub," promptly providing Chinese and Iranian enterprises with services such as market updates, policy consulting, and cooperation matchmaking. Second, to serve as a "cultural envoy," organizing diverse exchange activities to deepen the friendship between Iran and China at the people-to-people level. Third, to work as a "cooperation facilitator," proactively aligning with the development strategies of the Yangtze River Delta region, and actively exploring new paths for cooperation in fields such as energy, agriculture, manufacturing, and cultural tourism—so that more China-Iran cooperation projects can take root, bloom, and bear fruit in Huzhou.

Finally, I would like to say: Our millennia-old friendship is the cornerstone of our cooperation, and mutual benefit and win-win results are our goal. Let us take today’s inauguration as a new starting point, join hands, and seize opportunities. May the Iran Trade Pavilion in Huzhou become a "new calling card" for China-Iran friendly cooperation. May the people of our two countries gain happiness through more exchanges and cooperation. And may this millennia-old "old friendship" between us bear more abundant fruits in the new era!

Thank you all!
